ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification

Employees of CRA members can receive a discount on this training.

California law requires every foodservice establishment to have at least one employee who holds Food Protection Manager certification.

Certification must be renewed every five years.

Public Training

This one-day session will review the key terms and concepts from the ServSafe® textbook and is followed by a 90-question, multiple-choice accredited exam. Passing score is 75 percent or higher.

You must submit payment to be registered.

Once registered, you will receive confirmation that can be used as a receipt. Participants will receive a book via UPS and a confirmation email that can be used as receipt.

You can either:

A) register online

B) fax the form with your credit card information or

C) mail the form with a check.

Private Training Option

A certified instructor will come to your establishment with all the necessary equipment and training materials. The instructor will lead a 6-hour training followed by a 90-question, multiple choice exam. Call 916.431.2751 or email [email protected] to set up a private training.

Example: A class of 22 people at a member price
$1,400 (base price for the first 10 people) plus
$1,500 for the additional 12 people ($125/person)
Total cost of the class is $2,900
